April 10-16, 2016 marks National Volunteer Recognition Week in America.  Last year,  1,109 Minnesota Zoo volunteers logged in 111,015 hours of service. Even more impressive—the Zoo will celebrate three million hours of volunteer service by early May.  This amazing show of dedication and support from volunteers since 1978 is tantamount to our mission of connecting people, animals and the natural world to save wildlife.  Thank you Minnesota Zoo volunteers – you are the best!

You could join this awesome group of people by volunteering for your Minnesota Zoo.  We are currently recruiting seasonal interpretive volunteers, as well as summer volunteers at the Wells Fargo Family Farm and Carousel.  Visit http://mnzoo.org/get-involved/volunteer/ for more information.
